Love Shayari is an independent website built around a simple idea: the right few lines can say what a whole paragraph cannot. We publish collections of love shayari in Hindi and English — verses for the moments when you want to tell someone how you feel, and for the quieter moments when you are still working out how you feel on your own.
What you will find here
Our collections are grouped by mood and occasion rather than by poet or era, because that is how most people actually search for shayari. You rarely want "a ghazal from the 1970s". You want something to send tonight.
- Romantic shayari for couples — warm, affectionate lines for partners, for anniversaries, and for everyday reminders that someone is on your mind.
- Heart touching shayari — verses with a little more emotional weight, for feelings that are harder to put plainly.
- Sad love shayari — for heartbreak, distance, and memory. Often the most-read section on the site, which tells you something about why people come to poetry.
- I Love You shayari — direct and unambiguous, for when hinting is not the point.
- Love shayari in English — for readers who prefer English, or who want to share a verse with someone who does not read Hindi.
What we aim for
We are not trying to be an academic archive of Urdu and Hindi poetry — there are excellent scholarly resources for that, and we would rather point you to them than imitate them badly. What we try to do is narrower and, we hope, useful:
- Readable formatting. Shayari loses its rhythm when the line breaks are wrong. We set each verse the way it is meant to be read.
- Honest grouping. A verse filed under "romantic" should actually feel romantic. We would rather have a shorter, accurate collection than a padded one.
- Credit where we know it. A great deal of shayari circulates without attribution, and we will not pretend to know an author we do not. Where a verse is traditional or its origin is unclear, we leave it unattributed rather than guess.
- No paywalls or sign-ups. Everything on this site is free to read, copy, and share.
Built for sharing
Most people do not read shayari and stop there — they send it on. Every verse on the site has a copy button, a share button, and a download button that turns the lines into an image you can post or forward. These features run entirely inside your own browser. Nothing you copy, share, or download is sent to us or recorded on our side.
Who runs this site
Love Shayari is a small, independently run site. It is not a company, a publishing house, or a team — the collections here are put together and maintained by one person, which is worth saying plainly so you know exactly what kind of site you are reading.
That also means feedback actually reaches someone. If a verse is mis-set, mis-filed, or wrongly uncredited, or if you are the author of something published here, please tell us — see our contact page. Corrections and takedown requests are handled personally, and we would rather fix something quickly than argue about it.
